The Gathering Space
The heartbeat of the Studio. Coffee, conversation, casual meetings — some women come for two hours; some stay all day.
A women's community and physical space taking shape in the St. Louis area. Part coworking, part wellness, part creative studio, part learning lab, part gathering place.
We are pre-launch. No lease is signed yet and all interior images are concept renderings.

We believe women were never meant to do all of this alone.
We believe success should make your life bigger, not consume it.
We believe ambition and joy can coexist.
We believe the right connection can change the trajectory of a life.
We believe women grow faster when they stop competing and start helping one another rise.
We believe technology should give women more freedom, not more complexity.
We believe your next chapter can begin at 25, 45, 65, or 85.
We believe women need more rooms where someone asks, “What are you dreaming about?” and then follows it with, “How can we help you build it?” That is the room we are creating.
A coworking space helps you work. A gym helps you move. A networking group helps you meet people. A business coach helps you grow. A content studio helps you create. A life coach helps you figure out what's next.
Most women end up assembling all of it themselves: a patchwork quilt of separate memberships, each one seeing only a single version of her.
Ladies of the Lou brings those worlds into one room, so you don't have to.

Light, airy, high-end but livable. Every image below is an early concept rendering — a feel for the space, not a finished room.

The heartbeat of the Studio. Coffee, conversation, casual meetings — some women come for two hours; some stay all day.

The first hello, the first exhale. Part café, part welcome desk, part community hub — every detail says you belong here.

Strength, yoga, and movement that becomes part of your day instead of one more thing to squeeze in. Take care of the woman building the life.

Where the Learning Lab happens: business, career, money, wellness, and creativity, for whatever season you are in.

Small private spaces to close the door: calls, client meetings, coaching sessions. Community without sacrificing your ability to get work done.

Everything you need to create scroll-stopping content. No more filming a Reel against the kitchen wall.

A professional, approachable space to record your own show, interview a guest, or simply tell your story and be heard.

The everyday details: a place to reset and feel completely taken care of between everything else on your calendar.
As we evaluate real estate for the flagship studio, this is one concept floor plan we have worked through for a roughly 5,000 sq. ft. space: seven private offices, five focus rooms, a workshop and event room, a content studio, a podcast studio, a wellness studio, and the café and Gathering Space at the center of it all.
Nothing here is final. No location is signed yet, and the room counts, walls, and actual footprint will depend on the space we land and an architect's review.

Every program, partnership, and idea has to answer yes to these.
Does this help women build lives they are excited to live?
Does this create meaningful connection?
Does this increase a woman's capacity instead of adding more to her plate?
Does this make her feel supported?
Does this encourage women to help other women rise?
I have people.
I have made genuine friends.
I have found women who can help me, and women I can help.
I've made connections, referrals, collaborations, partnerships.
I'm learning, and taking better care of myself.
I'm trying things I wouldn't have tried alone.
My business or career is moving forward.
My life feels bigger.
And when I need help, I know where to go.

Founder, Ladies of the Lou Studio
At 50, Angelina Shively had spent more than 25 years in education, as a teacher, school leader, and principal. She learned the job was never about knowing everything herself. It was about building the right environment, recruiting great people, creating opportunities to learn, noticing who needed support, making introductions, and protecting a culture where people feel like they belong.
She's in her own next chapter now, building businesses, teaching entrepreneurs, working with AI and technology, and building community. Ladies of the Lou Studio is the place she wishes already existed for her. She's building it from inside her own transition, not after arriving at some finished version of success.
This is a different kind of school. This one is for women.
We are pre-launch. No lease is signed, and every interior image here is a concept rendering. Join the list and we will tell you the moment there is something real to walk into.
